What the Pitta is my favourite food to ever exist. Sounds extreme? Food hyper fixations are my thing, and What the Pitta is my hyper fixation. The doner kebab is absolute perfection, I get hearts in my eyes just talking about it. Which I do, a lot. And don’t even get me started on the popcorn chicken. I order it when I’m sad, sick, hungover, celebrating, or just because it’s Tuesday. I talk about it so much that my boss posed for a professional photo outside the Brighton store on her wedding day just for me. Honestly, if you do nothing else with your life try this food it’s incredible.

Great little spot tucked away for a quick meal (take out and the have some seating inside). Fast and substantial Middle East food. No fuss, low cost but certainly not lacking in taste. The Baklava pastry was seriously light and fluffy; one of the best I had.

Low key spot for top tier wraps. Flavorful. Saucy. Closest thing I’ve had to New York City vegan kabab wrap outside of New York City. Atmosphere was quiet and low key. Friendly. Clean. A refuge in brick lane. The bread was warm and stretchy, the kabab was well spiced and had a solid chew to it (I think it’s seitan based). The sauce was rich. All in all a mouth watering combination. The portion size was pretty massive so it’s a great choice if you’re super hungry or want to save some for later.Sorry for the rough photo. It looked so good I had to take a few bites before taking the pic.Really nice guy at the front. There’s no bathroom but they’ll direct you to where the nearest bathrooms are if you ask. Very reasonably priced too. I will be back %.

It has been our go-to takeaway for many years. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Probably the best döner (vegan and non-vegan) in the area. It is full of flavour (the jalapeños are a great idea). The döner is delicious, but make sure you make room for the baklava!
